What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear something comfortable. You’ll be asked to undress to your level of comfort and will be appropriately draped during your massage at all times. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

Do I need a referral to book a massage?
No referral is needed to book an appointment. However, some private health funds may require a referral for claiming purposes (if you’re eligible for rebates).

Can I claim my massage on private health insurance?
Health fund rebates are available for the following: AHM, Australian Unity, ARHG, Bupa, CBHS, HCF, MediBank and Nib. You’ll be able to claim if your fund covers remedial massage and you're eligible under your policy. Payments are required upfront and an invoice will be supplied to claim back through your chosen health fund. (Relaxation Massage bookings are not covered)

What’s the difference between remedial and relaxation massage?
Remedial massage is treatment-focused — designed to address pain, dysfunction, or injuries. Relaxation massage is gentle and calming, ideal for stress relief and general wellbeing.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes — I understand that life happens. However, cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows will be invoiced accourding to our cancellation policy, as this time has been set aside just for you.

Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes — gift vouchers are available and make a thoughtful gift for any occasion. Contact me directly via phone or email or head to the gift voucher section on our page. Gift Vouchers are valid for 1 year from purchased date and non refundable. Cannot be used with other discounted offers or health fund

How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, especially for your first visit, to allow time for a quick intake form and discussion about your needs.

What happens during my first appointment?
Your initial session includes a health history review, assessment, and a tailored treatment. We’ll discuss your goals and any areas of concern.

Is massage safe for chronic conditions?
Yes, massage can be helpful for many chronic conditions including arthritis, tension headaches, postural pain, and anxiety.

Do you treat children or teenagers?
Yes — I can provide gentle remedial or relaxation massage for children aged 12 and over, with parent/guardian consent and presence for minors. I do have a current WWCC.

What if I’m pregnant? Can I still have a massage?
Yes, I offer pregnancy-safe remedial and relaxation massage. Please let me know at the time of booking so I can tailor your session accordingly.

Will I be sore after my massage?
It’s common to feel some mild soreness or fatigue for up to 72 hours after a remedial massage, especially if deep tissue or trigger point work is performed.

What should I do after my massage?
Stay hydrated, avoid intense activity, and allow time to rest. Some people feel relaxed, others may feel sore — both are normal.

Can I get a massage if I’m sick?
Please reschedule if you’re unwell with cold, flu, or other contagious symptoms. Having treatment while unwell can worsen symptoms.

Do you offer mobile massage or home visits?
I offer mobile massages please contact me via phone or email. Please not that travel fee is not included in service and will be an additional charge

How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your needs. For general maintenance, monthly is ideal. For injury recovery or chronic pain, weekly or fortnightly may be recommended.
